Working with Lucy Edwards

Its been a minute since I posted on the blog but I thought what better way to kick start it back with a post about meeting and working the lovely Lucy Edwards.

I was asked to meet Lucy in a gorgeous hotel in Glasgow to do her hair for wedding dress shopping. Who better to help her out than me, a bridal expert when it comes to hair.

Ive never did hair for someone who was blind before so I did my research and found that Lucy is very active in teaching people how to work with the blind and after watching her videos I felt like I already knew her.

When I got to the hotel I was welcomed with open arms by Lucy and her manager Ange who is an owner of spotlight agency and they both were so amazing. What an opportunity Ive been presented with.

After discussing with Lucy her requirements and finding out her contracts with Pantene we thought it best to focus on the hair and not what we used. (Although everyone knows my GO TOS)

We started by blow drying her extensions and my goodness was her hair a gorgeous colour. Lucy asked me to describe myself and what colour my hair was. It was drowning in roots since I didn't have time to get them done. Luckily I have now so no one else needs to play witness to them.

After blow drying we styled with straighteners giving her a gorgeous bouncy blow out look and topped of with a beautiful shine.

We wanted to give Lucy a soft style but something that adds a bit of the glam factor with the curls framing her beautiful face.

The perfect style to go and get on your dream wedding dress!

The best thing about working with celebrity clients is that they cannot do enough to help you, even though you are there to help them.

I loved working with Lucy and Ange and must thank my good friend Victoria Halliday Consultancy for the introduction.

You can check out reels of our time in the hotel on my Instagram page.
